Verify app permissions for activity tracking

When you use our app to track your activities, we use GPS data to calculate the distance and track your course. We need permissions to do so, and when these are not provided, activity tracking will not work correctly and show zero distance.

What permissions are required?

For full functionality, please enable:

  • Location access
  • Precise (detailed) location
  • “Allow all the time” or background location (recommended for uninterrupted tracking)

I didn’t allow permissions earlier—how can I fix this?

You can update your settings anytime through your device:

On iPhone (iOS):

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Apps
  3. Scroll to our app
  4. Tap Location
  5. Select Always
  6. Enable Precise Location

On Android:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll to Apps
  3. Scroll to our app
  4. Tap Permissions
  5. Tap Location
  6. Select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app if that is the only choice
  7. Enable Use precise location (if available)

How do I verify that everything is set correctly?

  1. Open our app
  2. Start an activity

If permissions are missing, you’ll see a prompt or warning

You can also revisit your device settings to confirm location access is set to the highest level.

What happens if I don’t enable full permissions?

  • Distance tracking may be inaccurate
  • Activities may stop recording in the background
  • Some features may not work as intended

Is my location data safe?

Yes. Your location data is used only to provide core app functionality and is handled according to our privacy policy.
